And the secret garden bloomed and bloomed and every morning revealed new miracles.
— Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden.

welcome to my flowers

An Untintentional Florist is me.

My appreciation of the time, and skill required to create something beautiful and desirable is always present. On graduating art school, I worked in different countries acquiring various floristry techniques, styles and ideas to add to my own, as well as meeting many colourful characters whom I still hold dear.

We are surrounded by natures bounty through the ever changing seasons. Every few months there is an exciting opportunity to embrace new colours, flowers and foliage. Even now, I am always looking forward to the next natural palette we will be graced with. I can never decide which season I love the best. They all bring their own joy in the form of colour, texture and fragrances. Winter brings berries, Spring blossoms, Summer gives us scented roses and then there is of course Autumn, where its striking colours speak for itself.

Appreciative of nature, my wedding flowers reflect how plants and flowers grow naturally in our gardens, with an air of whimsy and romance included just because!!

A true country girl at heart, I love the idea of marrying natures beautiful backdrop and elegant florals together to create your perfect wedding story.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Colour plays a key part in my flowers, my favourites being my ‘secret garden’ inspired creation above. Having said that, it doesn’t take much for me to be delighted by other colour palettes. Whats your favourite colours?

Flowers and fruit are a marriage made in heaven, making for a delicious, eye catching table scape. Dont you agree?

I invite you to imagine this table….

My goal is to surround you with gorgeous garden style florals……

Dont let us make it tidy,”said Mary. “It wouldnt seem like a secret garden if it was tidy.
